About Native New Hampshire

Native New Hampshire is a business directory and local guide for the state we actually live in — all seven regions, from the Seacoast to the Great North Woods.

What we’re for. Finding a plumber, a vet, a decent breakfast, or a shop that fixes the thing instead of selling you a new one — without wading through listings written by no one, for nowhere. Every listing here is a real New Hampshire business, reviewed by a real person before it goes live.

How it works. Basic listings are free, forever. We add some listings ourselves from public information; owners can claim them and take over. Businesses can pay for an Enhanced or Featured presence, which changes how much their page can show and where it appears — and nothing else. Paying never changes a business’s facts, rating, or reviews. Not paying never buries an honest listing.

What we’re not. We’re not a review mill, a lead broker, or a phone-book with ads. We don’t sell your email, we don’t track you around the internet, and we don’t let anyone — including us — put a thumb on the scale of what neighbors say about a business.

The trust rules, in one place:

  • Facts are facts. Hours, services, and prices are the same whether a business pays us or not.
  • Ratings come only from reviews submitted here, moderated by a person.
  • Paid placement is always labeled. If a business paid to be where it is, the page says so.
  • Testimonials (chosen by the business) are labeled separately from reviews (submitted by customers). They are not the same thing and we don’t pretend otherwise.
  • When we get something wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it. Every business page has a link for exactly that.

Made with care in the Granite State.
